Participation in the ASHRAE Ventilation 2022 Conference in Toronto
The ASHRAE Ventilation was first held in Toronto, Canada in 1985. Now, 37 years and 12 conferences later, it returned to Toronto and was held from 22 to 24 June.
This year's theme is "leading edge industrial ventilation technologies for a low-carbon environment".
The 150 participants listened to interesting presentations, discussed and networked in 5 key notes and 15 paper sessions and workshops.
From the EBC, Phillip Ostmann and Martin Rätz travelled to Canada and presented their latest research results.
Philipp Ostmann presented "Efficiency Increase of Air Handling Units by Parallely Operated Fans".
Martin Rätz spoke about "Real-Time Occupancy Detection in Hospital Patient Rooms using Sensor Fusion".
