Student excursion to the Viessmann company and the Krantz company in Aachen

As part of the course Regenerative Energies for Buildings II, an excursion to the research and development centre of the Viessmann Group and to the company Krantz GmbH in Aachen-Uersfeld took place on 7 June. Exciting insights into the activities and product portfolios of both companies in the field of ventilation technology were provided and the excursion participants were thus given an impression of the practically relevant topics of the course. In the subsequent hands-on session led by colleagues from the Viessmann Group, the participants were able to independently set up a residential ventilation system and optimise air outlet geometries. The excursion was successfully rounded off with a barbecue evening and a lively exchange of ideas.
