1st workshop on the energy-efficient shopping center of the future
On 18th September, an interdisciplinary group of researchers and industrial users met under the patronage of the FGK (Fachverband Gebäude-Klima e. V.) at the "Haus der Bundespressekonferenz" in Berlin. The topic was the energy-efficient shopping center of the future. The contents of the research projects EffShop and Enmodus (promotional reference 03ET1502A) funded by BMWi and four impulse talks from industry served as a basis for discussion for the future orientation of building energy systems shopping centers. Both the universities (Institut Entwerfen und Konstruieren, Leibniz Universität Hannover; Lehrstuhl für Gebäude- und Raumklimatechnik, RWTH Aachen) and guests from around ten industrial companies assessed the working format positively and left with new impetus to everyday working life.
