Still vacancies in elective "Interdisziplinäre Fabrikplanung"
This winter semester the EBC offers the course "Interdisziplinäre Fabrikplanung" (english: Interdisciplinary Factory Planning) as an elective in the Master's programme. You can find the current flyer
With this course we would like to promote the practical application of study contents as well as interdisciplinary cooperation. This subject offers a good insight into real processes in integral planning and the opportunity for exchange with industry representatives. In addition to an annually changing customer, external experts from the fields of agile methods, factory planning and fire protection will supplement the supervision of the institutes.
This year we could win the company Oskar Frech from the area of Stuttgart as industrial partner for the setting of the task. Along with the course is also a two-day excursion on 15. + 16.10.18 to the company premises. The kick-off event will take place on 08.10.18.
The project work will be handled by interdisciplinary project teams consisting of architects, civil engineers as well as mechanical engineers with production and energy specialisation. Accompanied by regular consultation provided by the supervisor team, a holistic factory design is developed. This year the focus lies on the merging and expansion of two production sites at the headquarters of Oskar Frech GmbH & Co. KG. In 3 colloquium dates the developed draft will be presented and continously updated. It will be submitted to the 3rd colloquium as part of the examination performance. There is no separate written test. This elective is evaluated with 6 CP.
Registration is still possible until 28.09. by e-mail to Tanja Osterhage. The registration in RWTHonline will then be made by the EBC team after the kick-off event.
