H2020 Plug-n-Harvest: 3rd plenary meeting in Barcelona
On June 6 and 7, 2018 the third plenary meeting of the EU project Plug-n-Harvest took place in Barcelona. In the project funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, a modular system for the refurbishments of facades is being developed. It includes passive and active components and strives for conformity with the principles of the circular economy. The team of the RWTH presented the previous design draft. At the end of this year, the first prototype will be constructed and tested in the experimental hall of the EBC. In addition to the presentation of the progress made in the individual work packages, one focus of the meeting was on the planned exploitation and dissemination of project results as well as on market entry strategies and possible industrial cooperation. On the following 8th of June, the Spanish pilot object was visited within a smaller project group. Itīs one of five objects at which the prototype will be tested in 2019. The subsequent workshop was dedicated to the further configuration process and the exchange of specific design ideas.
