Cooperative study with the bfw in the facade test stands
The EBC was asked by the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Operational Finance (bfw) at the RWTH Aachen to conduct a co-operation study. Within the framework of a dissertation, effects of the workplace design on the user productivity are quantified by objectively measurable indicators of the interior quality. For this reason, it is necessary to ensure constant room conditions. Hence, two identical rooms of the facade test stands were specially designed as office spaces. In a realistic work environment, 6 to 12 volunteers were able to process office-like tasks such as calculating and proofreading over a 4-hour simulated half-day. The room climate was decisive. The EBC ensured the desired conditioning in terms of room temperature and CO2 content.
