30th international ECOS conference
From July 2nd to July 6th, the 30th International Conference on Efficiency, Cost, Optimization, Simulation and Environmental Impact of Energy Systems (ECOS) took place in San Diego, USA. The main topic of the conference was the development of energetic evaluation and optimization processes for energy supply systems.
Jan Schiefelbein gave a talk on first results of the IEA Annex 63 for the implementation of energy strategies in communities. Thomas Schütz presented a decomposition approach for reducing computing times for the optimal design and sizing of distributed energy systems.
