Berlin ENERGY DAYS 2016
At the Berlin ENERGY DAYS 2016 Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Müller focused on requirements for energy efficiency measures with his talk on “Challenges for buildings and districts from tomorrow – integration of promoted projects and research results into practice”. Based on this research question, he exemplified his explanations by analysing the data collection in a city district. Furthermore, he presented the new Begleitforschung 2020 (accompanying scientific research), which has started in January 2016. The members of the Begleitforschung are the Institute of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building (E3D) and the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate (E.ON EBC ERC), both departments of RWTH Aachen as well as the Fraunhofer Institutes for Building Physics (IBP), Advanced System Technology (AST) and Environmental, Safety, and Energy Technology (UMSICHT). Referring to the Begleitforschung, the next congress on energy transition will take place at the Gasometer in Berlin from 30 to 31 January 2017.
