New publication on modelling the risk of infection by aerosol transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in ventilated indoor environments
Dirk Müller et al. have published an article on the currently ongoing discussion on the role of aerosol transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in indoor environments. A model for estimating the risk of infection by aerosol transmission in different indoor air scenarios relative to a domestic situation is presented. Special attention is paid to the influence of room parameters such as room occupancy, duration of stay, room air volumes and air exchange rates on the relative risk of infection. The publication is available as an open-access document .
