WohnZukunftsTag 2020


On 17th of June, the Federal Association of German Housing and Real Estate Companies (the Bundesverband deutscher Wohnungs- und Immobilienunternehmen GdW) hosted the digital Housing Future Day 2020 (WohnZukunftsTag), at which the accompanying Scientific Research on Energy System Transformation) contributed a session. The topic was "GdW Research Summit – Knowing what’s going on: Research for the transformation of energy systems", where current research findings from the accompanying scientific research with a focus on buildings were presented in order to strengthen the exchange between practice and research. Prof. Dirk Müller presented the accompanying scientific research in a keynote speech. The three projects “EnEff:Stadt”, “EnOB: FeBOp-MFH” and “Monitoring degewo Zukunftshaus in Berlin” presented their project, their new findings and their lessons learned. Issues discussed included decarbonisation of heat supply in suburban areas, monitoring of a refurbishment with solar hybrid collectors, geothermal storage and ceiling heating, permanent optimisation of operations and identification of current trends.
