CISBAT 2019 Climate Resilient Cities - Energy Efficiency & Renewables in the Digital Area
The EBC was represented at this year's CISBAT conference with a total of ten contributions. The CISBAT conference took place on September 4-6 in Lausanne and was entitled "Climate Resilient Cities - Energy Efficiency & Renewables in the Digital Area". The conference focused on data-driven methods, renewable energies in the building sector and smart buildings and districts. Following researchers of the EBC travelled to Switzerland: Gerrit Bode, Xiaoye Cai, Alexander Kümpel, Florian Stinner, Phillip Stoffel, Thomas Storek und Marco Wirtz. The presented contributions of the EBC focused on energy system identification with machine learning, the use of IoT and cloud platforms for energy management, the application of higher control algorithms and the optimization of 5th generation district heating networks. The contributions aroused great interest among the other conference participants.
