Project AGENT-2 started with Kick-Off in Erlangen
On 11.01.2023 and 12.01.2023, the kick-off meeting of the BMWK-funded project AGENT-2 took place at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität (FAU) Erlangen-Nürnberg. Alexander Kümpel, Phillip Stoffel and Steffen Eser participated from the EBC. Katharina Wehrmeister from the ACS was also there as another ERC member.
The AGENT-2 project aims to develop intelligent control methods for building energy systems. Here, the focus is on learning, predictive controllers, and modular, agent-based systems. In the course of the project, machine learning methods are to be applied to several real objects and transferred into efficient controllers.
Partners from FAU's Chair of Automatic Control, Bosch Research & Advance Engineering and Bosch Building Automation were involved in the project.
The ERC has the consortium leadership in this project and will mainly focus on the topics of infrastructure & platform, automated configuration, and controller development.
