Fields of activity
Kai Derzsi is working on the development of dynamic simulation models for the analysis, operation control and operation optimization of energy supply systems on a district level. The subject of his research is a property example from the project OOM4ABDO, which is the Werksviertel München.
Kai Derzsi graduated in 2020 with a master’s degree in Energy Engineering with a major in Power Plant Engineering from the RWTH Aachen University. During his master‘s program, he worked as a working student at the FEV Europe GmbH. He wrote his master’s thesis at the Institute for Modeling in Electrochemical Process Engineering at the Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) about the simulation of the compression behavior of a PEM electrolysis cell. Since January 2021, he has been working as a research assistant at the Institute of Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate in the team Urban Energy Systems.
