Evaluation of required data and development of a ‚City Information Model‘ concept as a foundation of sustainable energy management in cities of the future.
Today many cities are committed to their own climate protection goals and a sustainable energy management. In order to be successful, the potential of an efficient expansion of renewable energy generation and an intelligent energy consumption of buildings must be made visible by simulations and site analyzes at the neighborhood level. Inspired by the Building Information Modeling (BIM) the necessary geometrically and semantically valuable 3D models of buildings as well as the required spatial data should be dynamically merged in a "City Information Model". In this thesis, the necessary data shall be estimated, requirements formulated and a possible system configuration explained. Finally, some application examples and perspectives are presented.
