The series of laboratories is a common course between the institutes EBC, IKDG, LTT and WSA. Within practical exercises during the laboratories, the students get to know several appliances for the alternative supply of energy. In addition to a visit to a wind turbine, there are laboratory experiments where systems such as a torrefaction reactor or solar cooling are studied. EBC is contributing to the series by offering laboratories for assessing a heat pump and a building automation system as well as for the examination of a solar thermal system.
