David Wackerbauer graduated in 2018 with a Master's degree in Energy Engineering with a major in Renewable Energy Engineering from the RWTH Aachen University. He wrote his master thesis at the EBC about the identification of building systems and operation characteristics from building energy data. Among others he worked two years at the institute for heat and mass transfer in research and one year at the interdisciplinary „Project Leonardo“ in teaching, during his studies.
Fields of activity
David Wackerbauer’s focus is on the simulation of energy supply systems on district level. The project OOM4ABDO serves as a tangible use case. In this project he works on control strategies fort he energy supply system and develops hybrid models of the city district on the basis of collected data.
