Fields of activity

Michael Mans’s work focuses on modeling and connecting thermal urban energy systems. Therefore he develops simplified simulation models for urban energy systems and connects them together to form a whole virtual energy system on a city district scale.

CV

Michael Mans studied mechanical engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg. After his bachelor's degree, he moved to Aachen and studied energy engineering at the RWTH Aachen University. Afterwards, he started his research at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate.
