Dominik Hering works in the team building energy systems. In his work, he focuses on design and operational optimization of energy systems with part-load behavior and temperature dependencies.
Dominik Hering studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. He studied as an exchange student at the Insitut national de sciences appliquées de Lyon and graduated at RWTH Aachen university in the field of energy engineering in 2017. From 2018 to 2021 he worked as a research associate at the Institute of Energy and Climate Research – Energy Systems Engineering at Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, where he focused on design and operational optimization of low-temperature district heating networks. He started his work at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buiuldings and Indoor Climate in January 2022.
