Fields of activity

David Jansen is part of the team for building energy systems and focuses primarily on the BIM2SIM project. The objective of this project is to generate simulation models for building and plant simulations based on BIM-Data.

CV

David Jansen studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University and completed his master degree in the field of energy engineering. During his studies, he worked as a student assistant for the FEV Europe GmbH, the Institute of Power Plant Technology, Steam and Gas Turbines and the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate. At the latter, he wrote his master's thesis and started to work as a research associate after completing his studies.
