Fields of activity

Markus Nürenberg develops hardware-in-the-loop solutions for building energy systems. These enable a realistic operation of the components in the laboratory. Based on this, he combines the gained insights in a new evaluation procedure for heat pump systems. Another focus of his work is the information and measurement data processing. Here, he concentrates on the interface development between test benches, simulations and test objects.

Markus Nürenberg studied mechanical engineering from October 2008 to 2014 at RWTH Aachen University. He completed his internships at Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH in Lollar (Germany) and Robert Bosch (SEA) Pte Ltd in Singapore During his studies, Markus Nürenberg worked as a student assistant in the area of teaching and research in the construction and development of micro systems (KEmicro) well as at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate. After completing his studies, he took up his position as a research associate.
