Fields of activity
Christoph Höges works in the team Building Energy Systems and deals with the evaluation and optimisation of refrigeration circuits. The main focus is the creation of detailed simulation models and the development of new control and refrigeration circuit concepts, which are investigated in controller-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop experiments.
Christoph Höges studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University and completed his studies with a specialization in renewable energy technologies in October 2019. During his studies, he supported, among other things, the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics in the field of sorption technology and teaching. After finishing his master‘s thesis at the Institute for Energy Efficient Building and Indoor Climate he started working as a research associate in March 2020.
