Arbeitsgebiet
Alexander Kümpel arbeitet an intelligenten und innovativen Regelungskonzepten für Gebäudeenergiesysteme. Ein Schwerpunkt seiner Tätigkeit ist die Entwicklung energieeffizienter Regelungsstrategien für modulare Subsysteme sowie für Gesamtenergiesysteme. Hierbei werden sowohl die Simulation als auch das Experiment zur Entwicklung und Bewertung der Regelungsstrategien genutzt.
Lebenslauf
Alexander Kümpel studierte im Bachelorstudium Maschinenbau und anschließend im Masterstudium Energietechnik mit der Vertiefungsrichtung regenerative Energietechniken an der RWTH Aachen von 2011 bis 2017. Seit 2017 forscht er am Lehrstuhl für Gebäude- und Raumklimatechnik des E.ON Energy Research Centers der RWTH Aachen und ist seit August 2020 Leiter des Teams Gebäudeautomation.
