Fields of activity
Steffen Eser works in the building automation team in the field of control strategies and monitoring systems. The focus of his work is on the predictive energy-efficient control of building energy systems through multi-agent-systems. In particular, he concentrates on model predictive control techniques and distributed numerical optimization.
CV
Steffen Eser completed a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University. He continued his studies in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in simulation technology. During his studies, he also worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Chemical Process Engineering on CFD simulations for ion-exchange membranes. Since the beginning of 2021, he is a research associate at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate of the E.ON Energy Research Center at RWTH Aachen University in the field of building automation.
