Fields of activity
Marwa works mainly in the field of automated testing of building automation controllers, for the early prevention and timely correction of errors in operation. This is materialized by developing flexible, model-based, and intuitively usable test environments for cloud applications.
After completing her bachelor's in Information Technologies and Computing at the Arab Open University in Kuwait, Marwa studied Software Systems Engineering for her master's at RWTH with a focus on High Performance Computing and Computational Renewable Energy. She joined the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate of the E.ON Energy Research Center in February 2020, as a research associate in the Building Automation team.
