Stephan Göbel studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University and completed his studies with a specialisation in renewable energy technologies in March 2019. He completed his internship at Viessmann GmbH & Co. KG in the research and development of gas-operated absorption heat pumps. During his studies he supported the Institute of technical thermodynamics in the field of sorption technology as a student assistant. After completing his master's thesis at the Institute for Energy Efficient Building and Indoor Climate, he took up his position as a research associate in June 2019.
