Nour Haidar: New guest reseacher at EBC
On June 1st, 2018, we welcomed Nour Haidar for a 3-month research stay at the E.ON Energy Research Center, during which he will work in the EBC`s team “Occupant Behaviour and Comfort”.
He received his degree in engineering from the National school of Computer Science (ESI), Algeria, in 2014 and his Master`s degree in Computer Science from University of Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, France, in 2016. Nour Haidar is currently a Ph.D. candidate at L3I lab of University of La Rochelle, France. His research topic is on energy consumption optimisation under occupant's comfort constraint in Smart Building and understanding building occupant behaviour.
During his stay, Nour Haidar will work on machine learning approaches to estimate a room`s occupancy based on indoor air quality sensor data.
