Student excursion to Hamburg
The team of the course Regenerative Energies for Buildings II organised a student excursion to Hamburg on 22/23 of May. On the first day, the 16 participants visited the Cabin & Compartment Ventilation group at Airbus and were given an overview of the team's field of activity and they got a tour through some areas of aircraft assembly.
The second day was organized by the research and development department of ROM Technik. After an overview of the portfolio of the company and the work of R&D, the group was guided through the testing laboratories with a focus on the investigation of room air flows and smoke extraction concepts of large building complexes.
We would like to thank both companies for their insight into their work and their support in carrying out the excursion!
