Contributions to the Indoor-Air Hotspot at ISH 2023
From March 13 to 17, 2023, the ISH, the world's leading trade fair for water, heat, and air, took place in Frankfurt again in presence.
As part of a series of lectures by the Heinz Trox Foundation at the Indoor-Air Hotspot, Prof. Dirk Müller, Tobias Burgholz and Janine Bardey from Heinz Trox Wissenschafts gGmbH and Dr. Marc Syndicus from the Institute of Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Building (E3D) gave presentations on current research findings on indoor climate.
Prof. Müller presented in "Gecheckt! Sicherer Messebesuch durch gute und hygienische unbedenkliche Luftqualität [Checked! Safe trade fair attendance through good and hygienically safe air quality]", Prof. Müller presented a joint field study on air quality measurement and presence estimation in trade fair halls, which was carried out together with Heinz Trox Wissenschafts gGmbH. Tobias Burgholz reported in the presentation "Gelernt? Luft, Licht und Akustik für sicheren Lehr- und Lernerfolg in Schulen [Learned? Air, light and acoustics for safe teaching and learning success in schools]" about an intervention study on modular integral classroom renovation. Janine Bardey presented "Gemessen! Der HTxCube für alle Fälle [Measured! The HTxCube for all cases]", Janine Bardey presented a mobile measuring device for the objective and subjective recording of comfort-relevant indoor parameters as well as results from field tests in nursing homes. In addition, Dr. Marc Syndicus addressed the topic of "Gelüftet! Energiekrise und thermischer Komfort [Ventilated! Energy Crisis and Thermal Comfort]", Dr. Marc Syndicus discussed air-conditioning systems that compensate for lowered indoor air temperatures.
