FIWARE Workshop Publication
At the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate, we actively work with our partners on designing and realizing the energy transition. In this context, our research also focuses on developing and creating a digital infrastructure that enables the efficient coupling of distributed energy systems and their data flows. This is a cornerstone for future smart energy services.
Besides the technical challenges, we also focus on training young professionals. We are therefore pleased to share together with our partners at the IEK-10 at the Forschungszentrum Jülich our experience in the field of intelligent IT infrastructure, the open-source framework FIWARE, and our Python-Toolbox FiLiP from our research projects in the form of a workshop for engineers:
FIWARE for Energy System Engineers: An Introduction to FIWARE-based Applications in Python
We want to thank our project partners for their successful cooperation. We also gratefully acknowledge the financial support by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action
(BMWK), promotional references 03ET1495A, 03ET1551A, 0350018A, and
