New Journalpaper about the simulation on district scale
A building model adapted to the complexity of city district scale applications was developed based on national standards, The results were published in a peer-reviewed journal paper at Building and Enviroment.
Simulations on city district level need models adapted to the complexity of this holistic approach. Low order thermal network models are hereby a promising approach for simulations of greater building stocks. They keep an appropriate level of detail while significantly reducing simulation time. Several verification cases and comparisons to measurements proved good compliances under acceptable computing times.
