BauSIM 2014
The IBPSA-Germany and Austria conference BauSIM2014 took place from September 22 – 24, 2014 in Aachen (Germany).
BauSIM 2014 took place in Aachen under the topic „Human-Centered Building“. It dealt with questions concerning thermo-energetic building and system simulations.
The IBPSA-Germany and Austria conference BauSIM2014 took place from September 22 – 24, 2014 in Aachen, Germany. The town of Aachen (Aix-la-Chapelle) is located at the three country border of Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany.
With its main topic, “Human-Centered Building”, the conference featured energy efficient concepts to ensure a high indoor environmental quality (IEQ). Special attention was given to the factor “user”, since scientific research proves the importance of a good IEQ with respect to acceptance by the user.
The Institute for Energy Efficient and Sustainable Building (E3D) and the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate (EBC) of RWTH Aachen University jointly organized BauSIM 2014. You will find detailed information on the Homepage or in the Call for Papers.
BauSIM is the biennial national conference of the German-Austrian IBPSA chapter. IBPSA is the International Building Performance Simulation Association, an organization for practitioners, scientists and developers in the area of thermo-energetic, ecological and building equipment simulations. (mad)
